With our experience in Kyoto, then we started our interest in building linkage among cities.
While looking space in Osaka, I found an amazing place. This was a shipyard site. There was also a huge shipping factory which had not been used for 15 years. It was left as an empty space and nobody considered the value of its space. But seen from a different angle, it is a really potential place for art activity. We asked the owner to lend us this place and to promote this site.
At 40,000 square meters, the site evokes memories of industrial development and decline.
